Excellent replacement for gut core strings.

Pros: These strings hold their tuning beautifully. I've used pirastro for decades and always thought my violin was temperamental as it was always going out of tune often but these are superb. Same type of sound as I'm used to but without the down side of constant tuning. Has a warm, full tone.

Good string,easy tuning,nice to play.

Pros: Good string,compared with other syntetic strings,and of course fits best toghether with the other Obligato strings.

Cons: Nothing!

Other: Easy tuning,adjusts quickly after change,last long and nice to play
