Much better than regular Olive D
3 out of 4 found the following review helpful

Pros: Much better than the regular Olive D - sound is more focused and resonant and lasts a lot longer!

Cons: Takes a while to settle in - as with most gut core strings

Produces lovely tone

Pros: Lovely sound. Rich tone

Cons: Goes out of tune a lot especially when first fitted. Bought one these strings 4 months ago and discovered on opening my case that it had broken. Disappointed as bought for quality and had it highly recommended. Hope the replacement will last much longer!

Other: The String Zone refunded me for the cost of the replacement string

Worth the effort and price

Pros: This string produces a beautiful tone and I am getting the hang of the tuning which was every few minutes at first. Kept telling myself it would be worth it in the end and the tuning has already settled very well. Just kept working the string hard and the practice has paid off. Enjoying playing even more now I have better quality strings.

Cons: Requires patience and practice to keep tuning and retuning.
