Pros: Immediate sound, soft but bright and punchy. (I had Pirastro Flexocore and Originals before and they were too tight and edgy. Feel slightly thinner under the fingers Quick response I play a mid-C.19th English bass, flat back.

I am in love
Pros: I had cumbersome rockabilly strings that were so hard to bow and as I joined an orchestra where bowing is needed, I chose this string. What a joy. Nice and bright with a gurgling undercurrent of moodiness which is very exciting. I am going to buy the whole set. I am a cellist, originally, so I do understand a good string, although I am new to db.
