Pros: Soft enough to play comfortably, good rich tone, nice overtones and very dynamically responsive to both arco and pizzicato. They are playing in very quickly, which is even more satisfying.

Cons: So far there is nothing I can say to criticise these strings. They replaced a set which, though more expensive, were very much softer and although easy to play on, were disappointing acoustically. I think I have found the perfect strings for my bass now and they have given it a new lease of life.

Other: EXCELLENT service from The String Zone. The strings were ordered at about 11.00 am and arrived at 9.00 am the next day, well packaged. Buying a set of strings is not something one does every month, so I asked whether I could possibly try them out and obtain a refund if I didn't like them, though I realised the potential undesirable effects on the strings that this could have had. To my amazement, I was offered the opportunity to return them in exchange for a full refund if returned within one week. I couldn't have asked for a mre accomodating reply, but in the event, this has proved totally unnecessary. Thanks, String Zone.
