I am very impressed with my cello bow rehair and high quality replacement leather thumbpiece. The bow repairer suggested that I had a ‘leather to end’ as well - a thin piece of leather applied to the frog end of the bow stick to help preserve the maker’s name and to help safeguard against perspiration. I decided to have this done as my hands do tend to sweat when playing! I am delighted with the bow repairs and my overall experience of the bow rehair service from Stringzone, which was quick and convenient, using the tube requested. I shall certainly use this service from Stringzone again!
