Pros:
It's very light; half the weight of my other rest (not allowed to mention the make) and that makes a big difference to me. The feet are sprung and angled to grip really well and the rest has never fallen off nor even become loose in all the time I've had it. It allows for better vibrations and therefore a rounder sound, noticeable even at my novice level. I didn't have to bend the wood, the angle was right for me, even though I'm really thin with boney shoulders.
Cons:
It was very, very fiddly to set up using the tiny screws and I kept slightly moving the configuration I had spent so long getting right while trying to tighten the screws!
Other:
I hesitated a long time trying to justify spending so much given my novice level, but it has made my playing position so much more comfortable. Might need time and patience to set it up perfectly.
