Pros: A very responsive string with a solid sound. Above all,no whistling or skating around with the bow. Remarkable value.
Cons: At first I thought the medium gauge felt a little thin,but my fingers soon adjusted.

Pros: I purchased the Hill Special E strings on the recomodation of a fellow fiddle player. the string produced a clear, even mellower sound, it just sounds better all round to my ear at least.
