Description
Alphayue strings are the perfect upgrade for beginner instruments. A synthetic core string at a metal core price. Instant response and supple feel they will improve the sound of even the most basic instrument.
To check your instrument size measure the length of the back (LOB) excluding the 'button' which is the thumb shaped extension at the top where the neck is anchored. Old instruments can vary, if more than 1/2" over choose the next size up.

Bought for a student. Does the job.

Pros: Bought this for my grade 2 student. Fits well on his violin, makes a reasonable sound and settles quickly.
Cons: Seems to be very high tension - I had to buy two as the first one snapped while putting it on. The second time round I was very cautious but it still feels overly tight.
Other: First time I ordered it it didn’t arrive, so had to order another.
