* All strings are ball end, unless otherwise specified.
Unique featured E string aimed at solving the problems associated with conventional strings.
This string features a unique coil design which changes to an almost invisible wave when in use and fully stabilised.
Made from a special alloy with a spiral design which increases the elasticity to produce a warm sound free of whistles and metallic overtones. (Manufacturer's description). Please visit manufacturer's website for more information on this design.
"This violin 'E' string benefits from our helix design which gives the metal core exceptional elasticity and results in a new level of sound quality. The synthetic core A string and the rest of the set uses our new W-Core® material."
For instruments fitted with an integrated fine tuner tailpiece, please choose the 'IFT' version. According to Warchal, this variation takes into consideration the string length necessary for optimal install.

Pros: Very warm sound . My violin is a 2016 new Guarneri copy.
Cons: It was difficult to get the plastic bridge saver off...I didn't need it as have parchment protector on my bridge.Did manage though to get it off. Takes a couple of days to playing unlike a normal E string.

Pros: Nice packaging, love the coil, easy to tension up. Lovely clear tone,
Cons: Sounds a bit louder than I would like, that being said the other 3 strings are a bit dull and need replacing, so not a good comparison.
Other: I think I will stick with this E and I've tried quite a few, for clarity of sound, it is tops. Shame it isn't a little cheaper, but there we go - it's worth it to me.
