The best that I have found

Pros: Excellent rosin. little or no dust, does not coat the strings, produces sweet, clear tones, very little needed on the bow hairs.

Cons: None

Other: I bought both dark and light melos and mix them depending on the temperature and humidity.

Great rosin

Pros: Love this rosin, which goes on beautifully and feels great. Have decided the light is generally better in the UK climate. Would be interested in other players' opinions.

A rosin with heart

Pros: My first trial of Melos light: the tone produced seems clearer, has more 'heart' or 'core' than I get while using the Melos dark. Well worth trying and the cloth bag is much better than having it in a box.

Cons: None

Other: Although Melos is a minimal dust rosin the light produces slightly more dust than the dark and does make me sneeze.

A rosin to transform the sound of your instrument

Pros: High quality product. It does transform the sound of the instrument - it makes it louder, with brilliant sound and more responsive.

A rosin that does what it says in the blurb.

Pros: This is the best rosin I have found so far. It pulls the strings, leaves hardly any dust and the sound is the perfect balance of 'attack' and sweetness.

Cons: None.

Other: I like the fitting of a circular cardboard ring over it now to prevent damage in the post. Delivery is very fast as usual.
