The A-string has a core made from a single filament of high-tensile steel and is wound with chrome steel. The D-, G- and C-strings have a rope core. The D-string is wound with titanium and the G- and C-strings with tungsten.

Pros: These strings suit my working lifestyle perfectly. They are even-toned from top to bottom and reliable. I like the feel of them under my hand - flixible but with a confidence-boosting strength. When new they settle almost immediately.
Cons: Nothing.
Other: I love these strings!

Excellent cello strings
Pros: Warm, responsive tone on both strings. No need to play in; very stable. They suit my Mittenwald cello very well. I find the A and D strings work well with my existing Evah Pirazzi G and C so I haven't yet fitted the other Flexocor strings.
Cons: None
Other: I've just returned to Flexocor A and D after two years and I'm glad I did

My favourite C & G strings, not so keen on A/D
Pros: The C and G strings suit my cello very well -- very fast response and a big forte, like spirocores, but easier to make a warm piano sound
Cons: The A and D strings didn't work so well as they sound a bit bright and nasal on my cello.
Other: After a lot of experimenting, I now use flexocor medium C & G, passione stark D and passione medium A.
