Extremely useful grooved plastic ledge which slots onto the ledge of metal music stands such as K&M and Wittner. Increases depth of music stand ledge. Two can be used to extend width of ledge

Pros: I have had several of these over the years and I think they are brilliant. The ridges on the shelf keep several layers of music in place - no more scrabbling on the floor to retrieve sheets, and your pencil will stay there too.
Cons: You can’t use this on a music stand which has clips.

Pros: Makes a cheap music stand way more stable and able to accommodate a folder of music. Arrived well packaged and really quickly. Thanks Stringzone!
Cons: Shelf a bit tricky to fit where stand has those wire retainers: had to remove them.

Pros: Great to use when playing a lot of repertoire in large bulky books-prevents the music slipping off
Cons: none at the moment as I've only just started using it

Pros: Easy to attach. Just what I needed. Great.
Cons: None
Other: Clever design. Fits perfectly as no wires on the front of my existing shelf which are at the back of mine. It wouldn’t be possible to put on if they were at the front as other reviewers have noted.

Pros: It's Whittner brand, so I was immediately interested in its design quality. It does exactly as intended, by creating more depth to the shelf of the music stand to manage better heavier or thicker music scores. Easy to simply clip into place and it fits in my stand carry bag.
Cons: No dislikes at all.
Other: The buyer needs to be aware that the shelf extender may not be a suitable fit on stands incorporating page holders connected to the shelf.

Pros: Excellent - stops old or bulky music from inadvertently sliding off your stand during performance. In addition - 3 separate 'shelves' can be linked onto 2 individual stands to create a long shared shelf for duets etc.
Cons: You'll need to remove any existing small, wire 'page-props' from the shelf of your existing music stand (if it has them) - so that your new shelf can be properly secured. Easily done though!
