Evah Pirazzi violin strings
1 out of 1 found the following review helpful

Pros: Well, a semi-professional! These strings are the only ones that work with my violin, and believe me I've tried the rest. The sound is rich, clear, solid, and with plenty of oomph but not the brassiness of solo strings. Highly recommended.

Cons: They are expensive, and you have to be very careful not to yank at them when doing quick tuning or they go out of tune very quickly. By being careful, I've managed to keep my last set going for over a year.

Pros: They are very responsive and bright. The price is very good for a better quality string.

Cons: Found on the first playing they seemed a little too bright, but soon settled.

evah pirazzi

Pros: They are loud with a vert bright sound. I do appreciate the power and edge, and if you are playing concertos it’s great,

Cons: limited range of colour, I find them inflexible,The high tension requires one to press more, and they don’t blend all that well in ensemble

Reliable, dependable, good sound and playability

Pros: Strings settle down quite quickly, and tune easily. An even sound across most of the strings.

Cons: Occasional annoying problems with whistling on the E string, though this a common problem with many makes of string.

Sweet and pure.

Pros: I have previously mainly used Dominant and I find the Evah Pirazzi strings give a clearer, almost ringning, tone. They are sweet and pure rather than mellow, but not too thin. During the short time I have used them I like them. The E string stopped loosing tension very quickly, the G has not been too bad, the A and D still loosing a very little, but overal quite acceptable.

Cons: None

Loop E string snapped almost immediately.

Pros: Evan Pirazzi’s suit my violin well and make a good sound.

Cons: The gold loop E string snapped at the loop two days after I put the string on.

Not for everyone.

Pros: They are quite loud

Cons: Didn't suit my violin at all or my type of music- ( Folk Rock/IrishTrad/Americana) very harsh when amplified and slow to respond. Maybe they would improve if played in for a long time but I had gigs to do wo went back to Helicore .

Evah Pirazzi - noticeably better than the average.

Pros: After trying other makes of string on a fairly good (but not professional standard) fiddle, these brought out a fuller and more even tone from the instrument for my playing (amateur folk fiddler). Somewhat more expensive than the usual brand, but worth the extra cost.

Cons: None
